can I burn green diesel fuel in a home oil furnace?

    Yes. It is colored green because of the road tax of diesel. It works the same.

    The reason diesel fuel is dyed red is to make sure it is used as a heating fuel and not for vehicle or road use. This is Uncles way of making sure the road tax is paid. Owners of boats using taxed diesel can get a rebate at the end of the year when used in boats. No road tax on oceans and lakes. Clear, red, or green its still all the same
