Would it be smart to invest in green energy at the moment?
Wednesday, January 21st, 2009How can i bring biodiesel to my town?
Tuesday, January 20th, 2009Should I run a diesel truck off Vegtable Oil or off Biodiesel?

From what I understand you don’t need to change anything with your veichle when running biodiesel, but you need to make some conversions for vegtable oil. However, from what I’ve read it’s not that much less expensive to make your own biodiesel as it is to just buy regular diesel fuel. So what should I go with? I would love to really talk to someone who has done this kind of thing on their own and has hands on experience. Thanks!

Can a viable alternative power source truly be found?
Thursday, January 15th, 2009Chaosman asked:
So far we have not found an actual alternative power source other than what has already been discovered (hydro-electricity, nuclear power, fossil fuels, solar power etc.). The new sources of power are all power vectors (resultant from indirect use of one kind of power already in use. Is there some kind of power supply that we haven’t found yet that will carry us into the future? Gravitational wave energy? Nucleonic resonance?

Are big oil companies fighting the”green” energy industry?
Wednesday, January 14th, 2009jhall11068 asked:
When I hear of the profit levels these companies make it seems that it should be obvious that the revenue be invested in Solar projects and wind generation energy and other renewable energys. Then we wouldn’t need oil from anywhere. No use for oil means no use for any more to do with the Mid-east.

Wednesday, January 14th, 2009What do environmentalists expect us to use for energy?
Tuesday, January 13th, 2009karlkalisnikov asked:
- They protest windfarms because the turbines upset bird migration.
- They protest solar farms because the space the panels take up annexes the territory of desert animals and affects their mating.
- They protest hydro-electric because the dams affect fish mating habits.
- They protest oil/coal/fossil fuel because it pollutes.
- They protest nuclear energy because they think it is dangerous.
