How much oxygen per pound of hydrongen is used in a Hydro Fuel Cell Car?
Sunday, March 15th, 2009suspect head gasket. runs rough, smooths out at higher speeds, creamy green oil filler cap, stalls at lights ?

has had timing chain replaced, valve job done, rebuild on fule injector, new rotor, new wires twice, new plugs, new head gasket, but suspect it blew again, was losing oil very fast, 1 or more quarts per week, new seals on tranny, front new harmonic balancer and seals, new water pump, new alternator, new electronic ignition, …what else is left. Have 50 lbs and 60 lbs in 3rd and 5th cylinders, (specs are greater than 110 lbs, I don’t remember exactly), 91 Chevy blazer, ,4.3, 4WD, 6 cyl. As work has been done, have been improvements, but still plagued by stalling, even while driving at a coast at 40 mph. What could possibly be left. Oil loss is less but still there. Sometimes coolant loss.
It has boiled over a couple of times over the last 2 years. My wife has a job where she must commute 120 miles per day. The plastic (!)radiator frame was broken and leaking for awhile, And you gave me an idea about warpage a real possibility. The head gasket was only done recently and if it didn’t hold, that may be why. The other option I looked up was the exhaust valves, but isn’t the head gasket easier to get to? We just had a valve job. The boys (mechanics)really dread my car.
I’m sorry Chevy folks, but I never had this much trouble with my old 73 Ford PU.

Saturday, March 7th, 2009What is the potential for Alternative Energy in Malaysia? (biomass/fuel, solar, nuclear, wind, water)?
Friday, March 6th, 2009Abhar,F. asked:
Malaysia is currently dependent to petroleum as the main source for electrical generation and fuel, but the oil reserve will only last for 50 years, or so. Why there are low exploitation by the industry and government for alternative energy to switch from the fossil fuel dependency? Although there are interest to go for bio-fuel, since Malaysia is the biggest palm oil producer, but why is the current standing of bio-fuel development and directive for its implementation remains unclear? Why was Malaysia so eager to go for nuclear power while it has only little (or no?) nuclear fuel resource? The obvious energy source for this equatorial country is solar power, but why is this energy potential is not fully utilised? Is there any natural barriers that prevent Malaysia from doing so? Or is it because of socio-economic interest? Will Malaysia go for appropriate alternative energy technology in the future? Is the current hydro-electrical generation is appropriate and enough?

Should the oil companies be forced to build the infastructure for alternative fuels ?

There is no easy way to get hydrogen, compressd air, batteries charged or exchanged, ect.. Companies that deliver fuel for our cars will want to continue to do so. If an investor put up hydro stations down I-80 the oil companies would follow suite and compete for the market. So make them do it now with the mega billions they have made in this market..
