It’s your head gasket and the gasket is cheap but the labor to fix it is outrageous…. Sorry bout your luck… maybe worse if you see a green flow in the oil, but it could be a blown intake gasket as it flows through there too… If it’s blown there than it could go down through too… could also be cracked block…

You didn’t say what kind of car, or it it was running hot or not. Might simply be a bad radiator if your car has an oil cooler for engine oil in it. Also can be an intake gasket, particularly on newer GM vehicles. Have it checked, or check it yourself before simply having someone change the head as could be much simpler.

i own a repair shop, and if your seeing that much green its not good, you may have one or more things wrong with it,,it can be a cracked block, and a head,, or a head gasket,or a head and a bad gasket, what really needs to be done at this point is to tear in to it,and see what it is,,the head gasket will give its self away as soon as you see it,and a crack in the head may be visible also,,you can also rotate the engine ,and look for a crack in side of the cylinder wall, also,,this is one of those things that you have to tear it down ,and actually see if its worth repairing,,good luck,i hope this help,s..have a good x-mas.

It’s 10 bad on a 1 to 10 scale. You have an engine that needs to be replaced or rebuilt.

Usually when antifreeze mixes with the oil, it makes it a milky color, not green.
But, once again, Dodge Man is right. You either have a blown head gasket or a cracked engine block. Do not drive your car until you get it looked at and repaired.
Your head gasket seals the intake manifold with the block. It keeps the coolant from mixing with the oil as it passes through the coolant tubes in your block.
If it’s just the head gasket, it can be repaired (it’s not cheap). If it’s the actual block that’s cracked, it’s time for the junkyard.
