Won’t those in old energy be losing theirs at the same time? It’s not like we need more energy, just a different kind right? Your thoughts?

No one has said we’d be free completely of old energy sources but yes some will lose their jobs as different sources are explored and utilized. Those jobs will be then transferred to the production and implementation of the new sources. If you can’t understand why we need to explore new sources you live in a bubble.

The same way oil industry creates jobs only they’ll be sharing the market and believe me oil will keep a big share for a long time. For now alternatives would only reduce the expansion in the use of oil.
