everybody’s fed up with the oil prices altough we know there are alternatives since a long time like hydro-engines, electricity, etc.. but what can we do to “force” the government to step over to other fuel, biological friendly or electricity
like “boycot” for exemple ?

Oil hit $100/barrel today, my oil bill was outrageous (I live in the Northeast) before the price was this high. Since home heating oil is essentially diesel, and you can run Biodiesel/refined vegetable oil in a diesel powered automobile with virtually no modifications. Would it be possible to heat your home with these?

Why is it that when gas prices are decreasing, they go down like 2 cents a week but when they are increasing, it goes up 20 cents every 3 days. When are we going to switch to some alternative fuel and stop relying on petroleum? What ever happened to hydro power. And please don’t blame the cost per barrel because I heard that the US has about a 6 month supply of oil so gas shouldn’t go up so quickly just because the cost per barrel went up.

JustHelping asked:
I am looking to buy a car that runs off of biodiesel and ethanol, but I’m having problems finding what cars are out there. I want them made this year and not personally converted, manufactured that way. Can anyone give me a list of what manufactured cars run off of one or the other alternative fuel listed?
