If I were to set up a biodiesel refining unit I would want fresh vegtable oil and I do not want to collect if from resturants. I want to buy at least 500 gallons at a shot to make it worthwhile. I want it domestically produced in the United States. Price and availability are an issue.

You would buy corn or wheat for this.
Depends on what your plant is made for.
$2. a gal. is the cheapest I’ve found.
if your creating a car thats gas a CO2 i will be at you
You can get an idea of what the cost of fresh vegetable oil is going to cost you by checking the prices at the grocery store. Reduce the price per gallon by 20% of the cost of the consumer price per gallon and there you have it. Not a pretty picture. But if you are serious about an alternative fuel you need to check out saltwater as a fuel…
