In my eyes, the biggest problem with electric cars is long trips. A fuel-based vehicle is quick and easy to refuel, while an electric battery-based car needs to be charged for a while. Also, the 'better for the environment' charge is often debated; while electricity is generally produced more effeciently than the power from vehicle's combustion engine, the construction of the batteries may be very bad for the environment. hydro power-I assume you mean electricity. Its the smallest atom it would be hard to contain without losing it to leaks. Is there a practical cost effective way to produce the large amounts of it required to drive all of our cars?
