you would have to get a whole new engine. your 5.4 liter engine is designed only for unleaded gasoline. if you put biodiesel in it, your truck woudn’t run. The only fuel you can use is gasoline
you can not run bio diesel in a gas engine period no modifications in the world will allow you to run any kind of diesel in a gas engine severe engine damage WILL result.
no it wont it has to be a diesel engine
no! a gas engine will run somewhat on diesel but eventually it will ruin the engine. one can convert a gas engine to run on diesel ,but you best have a lot of money, it’s expensive, you have to change the heads, the crank, not to mention all of the fuel pumps, etc.so stick with gas
Your gasoline engine does not have enough compression to burn the diesel fuel properly.
E-85 ethanol is about the only alternitve fule you will be able to run. But it would likely damage the engine over time. If you want alternitive fules to be used in your car then you need to get a car or truck with a flex fuel engine.
If your truck isnt a flex-fuel vehicle, the only thing you can run is pure gasoline, no E85 stuff. Diesels and gassers are two different animals.
